The new version of Emanuele Casale’s Conversazioni con Chomsky, a talk-opera in one act on Noam Chomsky’s traces for ensemble, voice, electronics, and images will be staged in Rome (Auditorium Parco della Musica) on January 24. The performance is part of the Festival delle Scienze 2014 whose focus is languages.

American linguist Noam Chomsky (Photo: Duncan Rawlinson) is expected to attend. The performance will feature singer Diana Torto and the PMCE Ensemble, conducted by Tonino Battista. Fabio Cherstich is the director, and the video production is by Igor Renzetti. Conversazioni con Chomsky was commissioned by Fondazione I Teatri di Reggio Emilia which premiered the work in 2010.
